RUSSELL "GEORGE" BRADY

Remembrance Mortuary Services Pause at This Time to Pay Tribute to The Brady Family. Our Words May Not Suffice to Express the Heartfelt Sorrow That We Share with You During This Difficult Moment. May Your Family Forever Remain Strong Together and Share in The Journey to Finding Peace After This Difficult Loss.

Russell “George” Brady peacefully passed away on March 16, 2022, at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, MS surrounded by friends and family. He was born 28 January 1957, in Portland, ME to Mrs. Helen Mohn and, the late, Mike Brady, raised and fathered by the late Norman Mohn.

Russell graduated from Windham High School Maine in 1975.  Russell is married and survived by his loving and supportive wife, Margaret, of 42 years, and their children Mark Thibeault and Gina Thibeault, their children Virginia and Oliver, Matt Thibeault and Gretchen Thibeault, their sons Hayden and Kole, and Danielle Brady, Adam Boynton and their daughter Kasey.

He and his wife owned and operated a successful cleaning company in the Portland Maine area for over 21 years. Russ was also a masterful storyteller of his family, friends and, lovingly, his grandchildren’s successes.  He was loved and admired by all, a stranger to none.  He is survived by his siblings Danny, Debi, Scott and Dawn, many nieces and nephews, and predeceased by his brother Bruce.

Russ always strived to sculpt, support, and synergize Windham youth and adult sport programs by coaching, refereeing, umpiring or administration.  Second only to his being a multi-sport athlete, fulfilling his children's aspirations, and the successes of his grandchildren, was his devotion to the Minnesota Vikings. He lived and bled Purple and Gold, his pride in the Purple People Eaters untarnished, and the moto “Defend the North” was never truer.

Sound the victory horn to Valhalla and join us at a celebration of life which will be held this summer in Maine, at date to be determined. SKOL!

“He Gives Strength to The Weary and Increases the Power of The Weak.”
